Our projects are aimed at developing skills of rural youth for employment and sustained livelihood. The projects are aimed at creating economic opportunities thus impacting the social & economic eco-system of the village. Our projects also work towards development of rural India by investing in education, health and other important developmental needs of the rural India. Overall, the aim is to impact & empower rural India.



Skilling & Employment

Our projects are aimed at developing skills of rural youth for employment and sustained livelihood. The projects are aimed at creating economic opportunities thus impacting the social & economic eco-system of the village. Our projects also work towards development of rural India by investing in education, health and other important developmental needs of the rural India. Overall, the aim is to impact & empower rural India.


In our journey so far, RuralShores has been able to skill 26000 rural youth, provide employment to approx. 21,000 rural youth and RuralShores Skills Academy has been able to train 50,000 youth and employ 42,500.Women constitute nearly 50% of the youth that have been skilled and employed. The CSR funds received are deployed for the purchase of the required IT Hardware to train these resources.

Child Nutrition

RuralShores Foundation along with Annapoorna Trust provides nutritious breakfast to children studying in the primary level of government schools in the vicinity of the Centres. Volunteers from RuralShores serve nutritious breakfast daily to the children. The main objective is to encourage school attendance & improve their learning and participation in the class. Breakfast along with Mid Day Meal scheme of the government makes sure that the child attends the school through the entire day.



Paediatric Health

RuralShores along with the support of local community, school and Shree Satya Sai Healing Trust, deliver pediatric health check-up facility in the schools. The aim is to periodically screen children for common ailments, general health and identify any referral cases. The focus is on the follow up in case of any serious ailments. As on date we have got 1825 children screened through pediatric health check up

Computer Based Learning in the Schools

RuralShores believes in investing early in the education of children for reaping the benefit of digital based learning. Children in the secondary school are provided computer based learning in the area of Mathematics, Science and language. This helps them to improve upon their knowledge skill.



Utsah

RuralShores places high importance on building social awareness & consciousness amongst the rural Youth. Activities are done under the in-house banner ‘UTSAH’ in the areas of Education, Health, Sanitation, Humanitarian Support Services and Environment. All the activities are done voluntarily through self-initiation on a weekly basis
